Question:
I have a newer Chevy Silverado (2004) - anyone know why it is impossible to lift the windshield wipers more than like 6 inches off the windshield? My 1999 allowed me to pull them way back to clean and to avoid freezing. I tried to pull back on my current ones - but I'm afraid I'm going to break them. Anyone else have similar experience or know of a solution? I see nothing mentioned in the manual and hope they haven't changed things with the newer model.

Any good books on how to make an engine?
they are a different designed arm that only lifts that much, not all vehicles allow the arm to pivot to 90 degreesi'm not sure but the arms proabley hit the edge of the hood, most people slide a piece of cardboard underneath the wipers at night to keep the winshield clean
Does anyone know where to get number plates with country flags on them?
It has to do with clearance to the hood. Anytime your wipers might be frozen to the winshield or may have snow on them, its a good idea to remove the snow with a bruch and gently lift the wiper away from the winshield to free it. Failure to do this could stip the wiper arm to motor fitment and cause the arm not to move.More Questions & Answers ...
