Question:
On the mid to late 1980s Holden Commodore's which engine had better performance between the Holden V8 or the Nissan Skyline straight 6 (or was it V6), I've always wanted to know which engine offered better performance between the Holden 5 Liter or the Nissan Skyline 3 Liter?
Answers:
it came as either a n/a (RB30) or a turbo (RB30ET)
the n/a version made 96kw at the motor where the turbo version made 150kw at the motor
the VL V8 made about 130-140kw at the motor
which was kinda pissy for a 4.9L v8
but the newer 5.0L V8 in the later model commodores is a better pick if you still want a an aussie v8.
