There are several possibilities, first of course is replacing the bulb, if that is not the fix then it could be the " ground " to the light (alittle rust and no ground), but if you have access to a tester see if there is juice on the hot wire, if there is and the new bulb does not do it then bad ground is highly possible as the problem. But check your wire connections as well.
