if it flips and doesn't have a roll bar, you are deadCan I put 215/70R15 tires on a rim that fits 205/70R15 tires now?
yes if you roll it over theres no roof to keep you inHow could motorists be more environmentally friendly?
Only if you roll it onto its top. A soft top will collapse. If you do not have the top up then your head will hit the ground if you roll. I have driven convertibles for 10 years and never had an accident. knock on wood. Just drive safe and you will be fine. What's the correct way to turn off a car?
There not safe for two reasons. There is no roof to protect you in case of a roll over. There very easy to break intoI have a 1987 Mustang GT 5 speed convertible, I put many additions on it, one of the additions was a "4 point roll bar", I don't have any plans on rolling it over (who does) BUT, just in case it does roll, I'm NOT going to get crushed like a grape ! Why they don't install these "Roll Bar's" on all cars is beyond me, they strengthen the entire car body, making it much safer for the occupants if it is involved in a serious collision, total cost for the roll bar including installation was $250, a "Small" cost for a lot of protection.
How do you add a url to your car on car domain?
Of course it is less safe than a hard top.Depends. If you drive a 'drop top' without a roll bar without seat belts, in place, you are in more danger than you would be in a hard top ( assuming and hoping you wear seat belts ALWAYS ), However, there are deadly 'freak' accidents in hard tops, as well as 'drop tops' too numerous to go into here.
Sure there is, why do you think insurance company's charge more to insure the vehicle? No structure above your head leaves you fairly open to injury in a roll-over. Some of the newer high end convertibles are built with a halo like loop extending off the seat behind the passenger's heads. Still, severe head trauma is most likely.
I don't understand what the big deal with exotic sports cars that are over $100,000? is?
Hard top offers protection in case the car rolls over. Convertable tops offer no protection against someone breaking into your vehicle.yes they are a little unsafe,if they flip over they have no roof support at all on them even with the top up,there very unsafe as far as that part of it goes,i have only seen one that had flipped before ,but it wasn't good for the driver at all as far as safety goes ,there's not safe in a rollover though, good luck i hope this help,s.
