GPS vs. Web Based Mapping Software: Which Gets You There Better?

----------------------
Absolutely I would buy one, I drive an electric car myself, a "Jet Electra Van" built in 1981. My car gets about 50 miles per charge, but is still useful for 90% of my day-to-day driving. And it's very cheap to drive - about a penny per mile for electricity.
*
The EV1 was even better. With the NIMH battery upgrade, it could drive for over 100 miles per charge. The poster who quoted "tens of thousands" for battery replacement doesn't know what he's talking about. On my car (lead-acid batteries), the battery pack is about $850 to replace. When I add the cost of periodic battery replacement to my electricity cost, it's still less than half the cost of gasoline.
*
And THAT is why I drive an electric car!

EVs don't have ridiculous costs to build. Rather, cars that are not mass-produced have ridiculous costs to build. An EV in mass-production should cost LESS than a gas car, because there are fewer parts in an EV, and the motor is much simpler (just one moving part.)

The Phoenix electric pickup truck can:

How much smoke does a 180 hp engine generates?

-Travel up to 250 miles per charge
-Carry 5 passengers plus cargo at 95mph.
-Charges batteries in as little as TEN MINUTES.
-Has batteries that last 250,000 miles (never need replacement.)

Are all rally cars 4wd?

That's silly.
The EV1 is not a great car. It has very limited applications due to its limited range, and ridiculous cost to build. Also battery replacement on a car like that is tens of thousands of dollars. That's why GM leased them instead of selling them. Electrics may be a viable alternative someday, but not until the next generation of battery technology makes them much cheaper, lighter, and better. You are way better off with a standard Honda Civic, which has almost no emissions, and is reliable, efficient, and safe.
