Answers:
why we can't have FLYING CARS parallel flying above the express ways ?
supposedly because of emissions and fuel economyWANTED:a 2000 Dodge Dakota Quad cab...OR..Gmc Sierra??
up until recently these kind of engines were quite unreliable (the rx7 engine needed a LOT of service). the rx8 engine is much better but mazda is about the only manufacturer that put a wankel engine in mass production, meaning that the others would have to start from scratch new r&d projects for a type of engine that would not offer a competitive advantage (not radical enough some would say). therefore, it would not be financially efficient. They are not as efficent as normal engines. If you read the owner's book in the RX-8, you are supposed to check the oil every other tank of gas. It burns oil badly.
I agree, they are neat, redline at 9000 rpm, but pretty pointless.
Anyone tinted the 2 front windows on their SUV?
Poor economy and reliability. Rotor tip seals wear out and your engine is hosed. Problems with customer acceptance too, they don't produce great low end torque and most people actually prefer torque over power when it comes to the actual driving experience. Most people don't want to see 9,000rpm on a daily basis, it makes them think their engine is going to explode.More Questions & Answers ...
