I am not interested in impressing anyone. I am a more mature lady in her forties who owned a Metro for almost four years, and loved it. Some of my friends teased me about driving "the bubble," but they stopped laughing when they saw what great gas milage I was getting, and always would have a few bucks left in my pocket to go out to dinner or the movies.
They also were completely shocked when I was unfortunate enough to hit a deer, and totalled the car, but I only had a few bruises and my eyeglass frames were bent.
Can i put a turbo on my mini bike?
That car had one of the most durable bodys ever, the man who owned the body shop it was towed to could not believe when I went walking into the office on Monday morning to inquire about what was going on with the insurance company. He did say that the Metro had passed some of the toughest crash tests, and mine had really proved the point.

I would still be driving it to this day, if I had not had that accident, and too bad what anyone thought.

if all your concerned about is saving gas and you dont care about looks then the geo metro is a good car. but if your just going for looks then i would go with a toyota corolla or a honda civic. those are cars are both good on gas and are reliable.What is with the HIGH gas prices right now??

I'm friends with a guy who use to have one. I mean, they aren't that bad looking compared to some vehicles out there, but it does get much better gas mileage than a lot of good looking cars. If you keep it in good shape, it'll last you a long time. If your looking for a car to pick up women in, then this probably isn't the car for you. Although, most women (I say that not meaning women don't know anything about cars, just a lot of women i know, know that if you put your foot on the gas you go, and that's about it.) really don't care what kind of car you drive, as long as it's not a piece of junk. And you say you take care of it so that tells people that you take care of things as opposed to letting things fall apart. Plus you don't want a girl who cares about what kind of car you drive, cuz then she'll care about the contents of your wallet and how much money you have in the bank. That's not the girl you want. You want a girl who understands that you drive your car because it's a good car to drive around. And on the safety matter, since it's a small car. My friend use to beat his Geo into the ground.He would hit curbs and shopping carts and just about anything to get a laugh.
