How to use a public bus? (read on)?

Question:
I live in the US. How to do I get the bus to stop where I want it to? is there a button or string or something? How soon do I pull it before it comes close to the stop? What do I do if the bus doesn't stop? I'm really scared that I'll end up somewhere far from home and be stranded.

Answers:

Since 1946, how many Chevy P/u's and Ford P/u's are still on the road today?

on the wall or over your head should be a botton to press or a string to pull on. they will stop after you pull or press at the next stop ahead of the bus. They also have maps in the bus that you could take and look at. Usually bus stops are within 1/4-1/2 miles within each other. So if you do miss your stop you could always stop at the next and walk back to your stop since it's not that far. Or before you go in tell the bus driver where you want to stop and you should sit or stand next to the bus driver. So when you're near tell him that you would like to stop at the next stop. Most likely they are more than welcome to stop for you. hope this help so good luck on your bus ride

help!!! helpppppp! must be cicadas!!?

You ask the driver where you should get off for the address you need, Anddon't forget to ask for a transfer

How do you get your cdl??

Well, in some buses like in San Francisco you have to pull a string which is sometimes behind the sits and some buses you push a stop button.
