On second generation camaros -would the firewall of an air conditioned car be identical for one without air?

Question:
More specific- the 1970 to 1979 firewall- does the air cond. model have the same cutouts in the firewall as the car without the air cond.?

It should, but if not it is not to difficult to make the cut outs. I believe all they would do is put plugs in the holes of the non air models.

yes they are,,i mechanic for a living,and i have installed air on a few that didn't come with it,,its a lot of work ,but if you want air it can be done,i had a 79 model that was plain,,and we took stuff off a factory z-28,like the air ,and stuff,and made it a real nice car,i had to cut one hole out,,but the pattern is there for the cut out,,you can do about anything to a good camaro,,as long as you can find the parts you need,,good luck hope this help,s.
