Question:
I've seen so many econo box cars lately with these big dorky wings on the back. I don't get it. What is the point? These cars don't have enough power to go fast enough for the wing to do a bit of good. (I know, I commute to work in one)
Answers:
Does using the heater or AC in your vehicle use more gas?
There IS no point...these poser wannbe racers actually think that those giant wings make their cars more stable at high speeds (har har dee har-har!). I can't decide wether to laugh or vomit whenever I see one of those dumb-a** cars pop-popping down the street at a blistering 50 mph. What is the mean of MPFI engine?
Dorky yes. Stupid yes. Ugly yes. Just for wanna-be racers. Shows how immature the person is.Automotive folklore and myths...?
One word. BLING!Not to mention that most of these cars are front-wheel drive.
How can the technology of transportation and communication effect globalization ?
It's generally done by boy-racers who think it gives their cars an extra 50hp, and great handling, as well, they think the car looks like an F1 car with it.
Do you think it would work better if you could record your own voice in your car alarm?
Just expressing themselves really. Pay no attention to them.
Are Volkswagon Used Jetta's/ Cabrio's reliable cars?
Well, why not? Just because they want to look like "Boy Racers", let them go on believing they actually are Mario Andretti or Michael Schumacher. As long as they're behaving responsibly behind the wheel, I have no objection to these "Wannabe's".WOW omg everyone here posted the wrong answer. The reason why you see economy cars with wings is because the wings are there too increase the cars basic aerodynamic performance. There not there because theyre sporty the principle behind it is when airflow goes through the hood and front window shield it will just run off the top right? WRONG what happens is that the car uses the wing as a basic device to give the car a much more tighter and faster drive because the car is literally cutting through the air Hence, making it more aero dynamic. The reason why they call it a wing is that the car like a plane runs on the same theory. the AeroDynamic principle is Lift= Weight and Thrust=Drag. Hahaha i hope you understand what i said because cars are truly amazing once you know what your talking about.
Has any one had trouble with their cars due to the petrol scare?
If you wanna see my car just go press on my avatar and look in the about me section. Theres a link to my Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution there. The Wing that i put on it is Carbon Fiber and i took a long time to make it a tuner lke in that picture. I hope u understand and enjoy the pic.
