I have to admit I have gotten better recently, but I still get SO angry sometimes when someone cuts me off, doesn't go as soon as the light turns green, flashes me and rides my bumper to get into another lane when I'm already speeding on the highway,and more. I know I gotta relax and calm down, but sometimes it feels like some people are the stupidest drivers and don't need their licenses. Does anyone else feel this way? What 'erks you' about driving? If you've eased your rage, how did you do it?

well if you are in the slow lane and someone is right behind your bumper you have every reason to be mad at them but if you are on the fast lane then they deserve to cut you off considering the left lane is strictly for passing and not driving.I think age eased it. Getting upset isn't going to change them. Whenever someone's a jerk come on here and vent but don't let it get the best of you.
You know what? If somebody is in that much of a hurry that they want me to jump as soon as the light goes green, they need to be in front of me as soon as they can, or they're riding my rear when I'm doing seventy-six in a seventy, then I just let them go. Know why? They're only saving a few seconds off their travel time and they'll probably end up dead before me anyhow!
Lighten up, girl!! You'll live longer and happier than most of those jerks who are in such a hurry to meet their Maker!

yeah i only have permit and it pisses me off and slow drivers, i have to speed even when im not in hurry cuz i cant function and get a headache going slowShould I brake when changing transmission from Neutral to Drive and vice versa?
i agree i have really bad road rage i find that when someone urks me on the highway and they are behind me i pace with a car in the slow lane and keep 'em blocked behind me..Other times I just turn up my music or grip the steering wheel hard and give dirty looks in my mirrors(that way i feel better but they don't know i am givin them a dirty look! lol!)

Of course other drivers are stupid, and don't need their license, (if they actually even have one), and they deliberately do things just to ruin your day, so the best way to get over on them is to be cool, and calm, careful, and courteous. That way, you'll get where you're going, while they'll get a ticket, or have an accident because of their temper.If knowing that you aren't perfect yourself doesn't help, try visiting the emergency room of a hospital, to see what people look like after a motor vehicle accident.
Whatever you can do to get over the rage, whether deep breathing, calming music, or just saying a prayer for strength, is worth the effort - it may just save your life.
I never get road rage anymore since I started shooting at people that pi** me off when I drive.
