i don't know how good in you are with your local fire department but alot of times they have "straight trucks" with air brakes and would probably let you practice or test in it so long as it doesn't go out of their fire district, another alternative would be to find a farmer or trucking company that would let you drive of of their trucks...as long as it has air brakes and not a combination vehicle you should be ok
