To ALL Petrol RC car people!?

Hi, right my RC car's pull start dont quite.. pull start!! I mean like you pull it and it dosent 'catch' if thats the word to use, like its as if its literally feels like as if your pulling a measuring tape if u know what i mean.. like its free flowing!!
ANY suggestions on what to do are greatly apreshated!

The one way bearing behind the pull starter is either wore out or just needs cleaning.Oil in it will cause it to slip.Best thing to do is get rid of the pull starter and buy a starter box.Much faster and easier.
