What is the name of the company that made the brakes in the car brakes episode of "How It's Made"?

Question:
The show was mostly filmed in Canada, so I'm assuming it was a Canadian company. It was a new design of brake with a floating rotor sandwiched between two friction rings. It looked very similar to a clutch assembly. I'd like to know more about these things.

In Season 1, Episode 13, automotive brakes were featured. The manufacturer was
Freins New-Tech inc. (Blainville, Quebec).

Why is it bad for the inviorment to top off your gas tank?

However, that episode first aired in March 2001. Looking for Freins New-Tech online, I only find expired pages. Could be they had a change of status so name and website changed. Or, they could have quit business.
It seems that the company was part of
"Groupe NewTech International Inc."
of Blainville, QC.
If you search both of those terms, you'll find several pages of company news. But they are all in French.
