well its a throw away car. I would not buy oneplease do not take this the wrong way, they are throw away cars, they either have a head gasket issue, or they have a bad transmission, the other thing is they have a bad window leak, around the doors since there is no trim work. If you are looking for a small car, the best answer is to find a geo prim, same thing as a toyota carola, or a carola, or a civic, little more money, but they will last longer than a neon..

Cons: Not exactly very prestigious, interior is likely to develop a fair amount of rattles. Many of them have not been treated very well by previous owners. The early ones had head gasket problems, but they completely redesigned the gasket to fix this. If yours had a bad gasket, it's probably been upgraded by now.
