How many minutes to drive if says 8 miles away?
Yes,.In fact if you have an aptitude for chemistry, you can "refine" your own bio diesel. The major problem with bio diesel is it will loosen up the crud that build up in your fuel system and clog up the fuel filter. Once the system it clear of crud, it should not be a problem. As for bio diesel ruining gaskets and rubber/plastic engine components. Pure bio diesel can have that effect so can ULSD on an older diesel engine. MB's and VW seems to be less prone to this problem with ULSD. (an older MB is the ideal candidate for biodiesel esp the early 80's & late 70's non turbo 240D for a novice biodiesel and a novice mechanic) If the engine is able to accept ULSD, it can take bio diesel. If ULSD will deteriorate you engine, so will biodiesel. Such undesirable effects can be mitigated when bio diesel blends are used with non ULSD. One can use up B20 safely. In fact Minnesota has required a B5 mixture for all diesel pumps in that state. ASTM does recognize a standard for bio diesel. The final spec is D-6751.Can I say that I can not identify the driver to an automated red light violation in california ?

Yes, they can. There have been complaints that bio-diesel is not as temperature stable as regular diesel. I have also been told that bio-diesel will ruin seals in certain fuel systems, and will also strip the accumulated dirt, etc. from your system.. The company that I drive for doesn't want us to put it in our trucks, so I don't have any personal experience with the stuff.

What does the Title look like?
The very first diesel engine built by Rudolf Diesel actually ran on Peanut Oil (which is Bio-Diesel)Does anybody still use those magnetic "key hiders" for car keys?
The answer is yes. However, Biodiesel is a strong solvent and it will dissolve accumulated crud in your fuel tank which may clog your fuel filter. Also this same properties reduces ordinary rubber hoses to a mess of black goo or tar. If you intend to use biodiesel, make sure to replace all rubber hoses and other rubber parts with synthetic rubber like Viton.
Why are prices for gas so high?
By nature biodiesel packs less energy than petroleum diesel but has a higher cetane rating, meaning it burns better. You suffer a little bit of efficiency but you gain better smoother running engine. You may have to consult a diesel mechanic to adjust the timing on your engine for biodiesel.
