Is it possible to steal wheels if there's a wheel lock on it?

One of my friend's civic had his stock wheels jacked from his car in this so called secured parking lot. I was wondering if he had wheel locks...would it make a difference? Can thieves actually buy a spare wheel lock set key or something to steal the wheels if they want to?

No, wheels can not be stolen if they have wheel locks, sure, eventually a pattern may be repeated, but I think it would be very unlikely that the theives would look all over for the car that the lock matches. They can't buy a spare key, there is one and only one key, if you loose it, you have to call the company for a new one.
