In the Auto Repair For Dummies book the lady mentions several times that you should do some repairs only under the supervision of your automotive technology instructor, during class.

Is a factory dodge viper faster than a factory chevy corvette z06?


Perhaps I don't understand how these classes work, but how could every person bring their car in and work on it in class with the instructor observing and helping? Surely you don't work on your own car for the class? What if there's nothing wrong with my car, how will I learn? What is she talking about?
