I got 2 speeding tickets in 2 days?

Question:
Now i'm wondering, when i go to court for the first one, is the judge gonna be able to see the one i got the day after or does it take a while to actually show up? And what options do i have w/the both of them?

Which car has the 'greenest' credentials?

btw, everyone speeds now and again. it's the governments big money-machine trap. while good people are paying big fines, meth-heads, murderers and child molestors are getting free meals and housing.

Where is the easiest place to pass your driving test?

Each one will be addressed separately. When you were pulled over the first time, odds are the officer pulled your driving record. They can do that on their screen when they pull you over. Whatever he saw, he issued the ticket whether your record was clean or not up to that point. On the second day, when you were pulled over, they pulled it again. If it was a different officer, he would NOT have seen the prior day's offense. It takes a while for them to post to your driving record through the DMV. Before you go to court, get a copy of your driving record to bring with you so you know what they are seeing. They cost about $15 through the DMV. Neither offense may show up yet if your court date is less than 30 days from when you received the ticket. And be sure you GO TO COURT. See bottom for more tactics.

Can i get a CDL if i had a DWAI in the past?

When you go to court: Even if it is the same officer that pulled you over both times, he is NOT LEGALLY ALLOWED to tell the judge that he gave you a ticket the very next day. You are on trial for the first ticket, not both at once, that is why you have 2 court dates. Bring the copy of your driving record with you and ask for no points and a reduced fine. If it is your first offense they will usually give this to you. Refer to your clean record if you have to. DRESS NICELY and do not speak unless spoken to. It is always better to pay a reduced fine and get no points. Points make your car insurance rise. Pay your fine in cash.

Why do traffic cones have holes on the top?

When you go to court the second time: Dress nicely again and be polite. It could be a different judge for all you know, and if it is a different judge and a different officer, they will have no idea about the prior day. Either way, the same thing applies: you are on trial for the 2nd ticket, not the first. ONLY address the ticket you are in for, and NEVER mention that you have been there 2 days in a row or for 2 different tickets. Do not volunteer any information. Ask for the same thing, no points and a reduced fine. If it is the same judge, keep it light-hearted. Be respectful of their time and their position and you will do well. Do not make excuses for why you were speeding, it really doesn't help you, it just shows that you acknowledge that you were breaking the law. Apologize for your poor judgement and be polite. You will do well on both days if you do this. Paying in cash on the first day helps them see that you have the money in case it is the same judge, they just want the cash, the points for you don't do them any good. You may or may not make your payment right next to the judge, so be sure to say in your statement that you would like no points and to pay a reduced fine in cash.

What luxury sedan has it all but not common?

Outcome: The first day you will probably get what you ask for; a reduced fine and no points. The second day, if it is a different judge you should get the same thing. If it is the same judge, you may have to pay the full fine since he gave you a break the day before. Be prepared for this outcome. The most important thing is to not get the points.

I got a speeding ticket in Texas in a work zone, how can I get it off of my record ?

My qualifications: 16 speeding tickets, 12 different states, never got a point on my driving record, never paid a full fine. Once got 2 tickets in 2 days, but they turned out to be different judges.

Who uses the most gasoline?

Additional tactic: This has worked for me a few times. Do your best to reschedule the dates you are supposed to appear in court. You are legally allowed to do this, you can cite several reasons (work, doctor, etc). You MUST do this in writing. This gives you the possible odds that when the court date is rescheduled, your officer will not be able to make the date. The date he put on the ticket is a date that he will definitely be in court for several tickets, not just yours. When you switch the date, if your officer does not appear, you get off completely. Always attempt this. This means no points, and no fine at all if he does not show.

How does a car keep track of the miles?!?

I was doing an experiment to see how many midgets could fit in my trunk and i lost the keys..what should i do?

first, its your fault for getting 2 tickets in 2 days. but wow, classifying homeless people as "meth-heads, murderers, and child molesters" isn't very fair. have you heard of innocent until proven guilty? something that the legal system of our country is based on? pretty sure if they were PROVEN to be meth-heads, murderers, and child molesters, they would be in jail. and what do homeless people have to do with you getting 2 tickets? that's totally irrelevant and ignorant. your fault you got 2 tickets in 2 days, deal with it.

How do I get my suction cups (for my radar detector) in my car to stick to the windshield?

Did you know that speeding kills also? In answer to your question, it might not. Just do not mention the second with the first judge. Please slow down.

I want to ship my car from Miami to Houston , dose any one know a good auto shipper with low price ?

More than likely both tickets will be addressed in on court date. Check your ticket because they probably have a court date set up for both.Keep in mind that your fine is based on how many miles per hr you went over the normal speed limit so the more miles your went over, the higher the ticket will be. You can go to traffic school for one of those tickets of and the other one should get reduce when you appear in court, but good luck with that because if you get a harsh judge he might not be so lenient with fine reduction especially since you got two in one day. These days, they are really cracking down on speeders and ticket fines are off the hook now. Believe me, I feel your pain! I have an 03 Cobra and lead foot the cops are always waiting to get me...lol! Good luck!

Why is the word 'Ambulance' spelled backwards on the vehicles?

I don't agree with your rational. You imply that officers just sit around pulling over lawbreakers who speed yet sit and ignore drug dealers, criminals etc. When was the last time you remember hearing on the news "bank robbery, but no cops showed up, they were conducting a speed trap"? Yes, I know everyone speeds, but that doesnt make it right. Speed limits are in place to protect everyone. I'm sorry, I don't need someone driving 75mph's through my little neighborhood with children playing outside only to be injured by 3000lbs of steel flying down the road. So it's not a "money-machine". If you weren't speeding then they wouldn't be making money.

Do you like a Mercedes, Lexus or Infiniti G35?

As far as your ticket, the judge should be able to see both, he gets a current driving record. The best thing you can do is to go to court and get court appointed traffic school. It wont count against your lifetime limit and normally the judge will remove both tickets and make you pay a fine in exchange... So no record.

What's the best way to remove oil stains from driveway besides cat litter?

The Prosecutor will mention it to the judge. If you're under 18 you just got yourself a suspended licence. If you're over 18 I believe it's 8 hours of traffic school. I've been there. I'd rather go to Iraq to fight a pointless war.

Why do lorries find it so hard to carry sheds?

with the lattest technology we now have all information regarding your records credit cards, traffic violations and so forth are recorded in order,so when the judge sees it there is no way you can deny just talk it out with the judge and I suppose your penalty will be lesser. Do not blame the world for your mistakes you are the master of your fate.

Is it illegal to have CLEAR side blinkers?

Obviously you weren't driving fast enough if you got caught. Tell the Judge that. If you get pulled over again for speeding and the cop asks you if they're was any reason for doing it..tell him that you heard he's been waiting for you all day so you got here as fast as you could. If you got 2 tickets in a row, maybe the big guy upstairs is trying to get your attention. I know it's hard, it takes a while to get used to.but drive the speed limit and watch how many green lights you hit. You'll save gas and you will arrive at the same time (you will be surprised).and you won't give the government or insurance company anymore of your hard-earned money. Even if you win in court you usually lose wages. Either that or move to Germany.

Hybrid Maintenance?

"everyone speeds now and again"
It's all about choice. Some people, not all, do things they aren't supposed to. The rules are clear and everyone knows them; so when you choose to break them, you are gambling. You lost at gambling, twice. Maybe you learned something from one, or both, of them.

If you were at a relay..like relay for life..what would you buy there..?

The Judge goes off what the Clerk of Court rules. You stand a better chance if you get them handled by the Clerk of Court before the judge is forced to rule on them. If you have a history of speeding - then you may find yourself paying heavily for screwing up (and getting caught doing it). If your record is clean, and the speed wasn't too bad - you'd be best to pay a lawyer to handle the first one and get it reduced to some minor traffic infraction so that it doesn't affect your insurance. Again, depending on your driving record; if it's clean and you can successfully have the first one dismissed to where you pay a small fine, then you can request a Prayer For Judgement. A "PJC" is where the court agrees to ignore your speeding ticket based on a good driving record, but it is an agreement that if you screw up within the next 3 years, not only will you deal with the full blow of that driving infraction, but also the 2nd ticket you just received. Now, if you can get a lawyer to get both tickets reduced to minors with a small fine, then you're golden. Bottom line - though costly, pick from one of the many traffic lawyers that will send you something in the mail soon and hire them. This may cost you $400-$800 now, but will save you MUCH more than you'll pay for your veh. insurance for the next FIVE years.

When you hear a fire engine sirine or a cop car, do you move over to the right or left?

Okay, if I were you, I'd get a traffic lawyer. You'll pay about the same amount to the lawyer as you would to the city for the fines, but the lawyer will be able to keep it from going on your record. I got two tickets in the same year once and I could only keep one from going on my record, so I hired a lawyer, paid him the traffic fine amount, and he talked to the judge. The thing is, you still have to pay the same amount for the fine (in attorney fees) but your insurance rates won't go up.
