Although in principle I think people should be allowed the freedom of choice, in many cases choosing a vehicle is a status symbol. Possibly 4x4 drivers now it's an act of defiance as much as a feeling of superiority.It's not my choice of vehicle but then I don't like being in the limelight, plus I go for practical rather than status.
