Noisy pajero?

I have a mitsubishi pajero import a J reg, and when I go over 60 mph there is a noise coming from the top of the center console, does anyone know what it is and how to solve it.

It's transmission noise , it's normal on older 4 wheel drives at that speed . Although if it gets excessive you will probably be better off getting it looked at ; ie ( diff ,transfer box , gearbox & propshaft's
