When Changing Gears?

Answers:

What are British manual transmissions like?

it is a blow off valve for the turbo,it releases built up pressure on the shift

When can I get my drivers license?

Pressure relief valve is activated while shifting.

Do I need a special outlet to plug an electric car?

Its called a blow off valve and it operates when you let off the gas to shift by vacuum. The purpose of it is to prevent all that boost from going back to the turbo and slamming into the turbine blades when your throttle blade in the TB is closed. Boost slamming back into the turbine blades cause compressor surge or turbo cavitation and that is no good for your turbo ;) hope this answers your question
