Car accident no police report filed?

Question:
February the 9th I was involved in a small accident. My car started jerking as I was parking and it made me bump this lady's car n front of me. It appeared that nothing was wrong other than a scratch on her bumper and a small dent. I gave her my insurance info which she wrote down. Then I proceeded 2 call the police & she said no over 5 times & said she saw no reason to get them involved or file it on either of our insurance because it wasn't major. My mother said se would give her what she could to help on her bumper. The lady called us saying it would be a $1000! We said no way then she found another guy who said the bumper would be 500 my mother paid her half. She got mad when we wouldn't give her all of it. Now she called my insurance agent. Can she do anything over a month later with no police report? No pictures? No nothing?

I would explain it to my insurance adjuster. The only reason someone would not want to get the police involved is if they are shady and have something to hide, or if they want to screw people out of money. It's in the hands of your insurance, and they can pay the company directly to have her bumper fixed, to make sure she doesn't keep the money for herself.

How much does an aston martin car cost?

There was never any need to pay her directly. Next time though, definitely take pictures, camera phones are great for this. It'll really save you some heartache in the future. Also, since the 1000 quote is so high, it might have been illegal not to call the police. She may find herself in some serious trouble, but I would recommend telling your insurance, and letting them deal with her.

I got hit many years ago by a van of a dry cleaning business that ran a red light. I was promised they would take care of everything.. I had a new car and the damage was around $2500.. When I showed the billed, They kept delaying, and delaying.. To where it got to the point where they totally denied hitting me.. Well, When the accident happened, We exchanged insurance info.. I just called their insurance company and reported the accident.. (About 2 month after wards).. I received a check within 2 days.. And the dry cleaner where hit with a fee for not reporting the accident..
You hit the lady.. Do the right thing and pay.

Is nitrous illegal in NH? How much is it around NH to get the tank refilled?

Probably yes,but it does depend on the laws in your state. Check with the local Department of Motor Vehicles to find out your state's laws. In most cases,a small(determined by dollar amount of an appraisal)non-injury accident may not require the filing of an accident report. ASK! Your state also may have shared fault or your fault alone(since you hit her). Find out before you antagonize her any further in order to protect yourself. The insurance companies will settle it between them but your rates may go up. You can also call to ask your agent the status of the reported accident filing. Be wise! And remember, accidents do happen, and we are all proud of you for having insurance while driving. In our state the police would not have come for a small fender-bender like this even if you had called. Good Luck!

How economical is a Holden Commodore VT petrol wise?

Don't sound so shocked, that's not an unusual price. That's about how much we paid someone for a similar situation. The lady offered to fax us the quote, it was legit. It included us paying for her car rental while her car was in the shop.
