absolutely not!IH 886 transmission problems?? HELP?
gasoline engines use spark plugs and compress the air/fuel mixture anywhere from 8:1 to 12:1 (high performance engines are in the 12:1 area). Gasoline is highly volitile once compressed. Power is exerted when the spark plug ignites it.
Gas tank empty simbol come up, how many gallons is left in the tank?
Diesel engines have a much higher compression, around 16:1. Diesel fuel, though flammable, has to be compressed greater in order to burn efficiently.
Putting used cooking oil into your gasoline engine will clog your fuel filter, gum up you FUEL injectors, and foul out your spark plugs if you're lucky. If you're unlucky, it'll do much more damage to your vehicle.

No. oil needs much higher compression to burn cleanly. Gasoline engines commonly run about 8:1 to 9:1 compression. Diesel engines often run up to 33:1 - and they have to be strengthened to withstand the added strain. This is why diesel engines are so heavy - thicker metal.Pros and Cons of having bigger rims..?
