Evo 9 and Wrx Sti?

Why is the evo faster when it has 2.0L and the STI has a 2.5 plus the STI has more horsepower?

gear ratio's, weight, torque and power curve differences...? a lot of things play into it. i have asked myself the same question, i personally would rather have a subaru. you might want to look at the weight capacity/towing capacity of them and the redline speed. my guess is the mitsubishi is going to rev higher and the subaru can tow more because it has more low-end torque.

Need some major help?

the best test would be to put 5 200 pound guys in each car and then see which one is faster.
