ECT power button?

Question:
I have a 2002 4runner what is the ect power button for and when should I use it and also how do I use 4 wd

Answers:

Question about driving in California.?

The ECT switch is for Electronically Controlled Transmission. When switched to the "power" mode, it just delays the shifts a little to let the engine rev higher and make more power before shifting. I don't notice much difference in my 4Runner.
Sorry can't help you with 4wd for a 2002.
