Salvage Yard won't refund for bad transmission, where can I file against them? Already contacted BBB.?

Question:
I purchased a used transmission and control module for my 2000 Kia Sephia. Was told it had 65,000 miles on it and a 30 day guarantee. Had it installed and with a couple of weeks I was back where I started with a bad transmission. Contacted the salvage yard about refunding my money, and have not heard from them. Needless to say they let the 30 days expire. Contacted the BBB and filed a complaint against them. Is there any other legal option I can pursue? Anyone know of anybody or place I can contact?

Where can I find AWESOME Decals and Bumper Stickers for my car?

Did they offer you another transmission to take its place? Most of the yards I've dealt with will stand behind their parts. You have already reported it to the BBB. If nothing happens then bring a suit against them. You have nothing to lose.

Not that I know of, but the BBB usually really helps you out.

Looking for a UK saloon car which has 3 proper seatbelts in the rear, ie not just a lap belt?

You best route may be through "small claims court". If they did in fact give you a written 30 guarantee, and you have proff that you contacted them within the 30 period, you may have a case.

Is The 2004 Saturn Vue Redline A Good Car?

Good luck on this one. You may want to contact your local new station to do a report about that company scamming people outta there money. If they get involved then more then likely the junk yard will refund you your money. People always do that here and when the media gets involved you always seem to get better results because the company doesnt want to hurt there stores reputation.Good luck

Why are Gas Stations always so close to each other?

NOTICE: Check the fine print always when dealing with a salvage yard. Every salvage yard I have dealt with in my 40 some odd years will not refund cash, but will get you a good product during the warranty period. You will always be out the labor.
