there's not a bad time to start driving...everyone has to start somewhere. You can be new to driving at 16 or 65, the more you drive the better you'll be. I know some people that are horrible at 35, so age has nothing to do with it.leagally its 17, not long to wait tho 1

Where has Toyota Racing gone? RIP to the Celica Supra, MR2 and Corolla GTS.?
I sat my kids on my lap whan they were still in diapers and let them help drive. was way before safety seats and it was how I was raised so I didn't see it as wrong. Goodness how lucky I was that nothing bad ever happened. depending where you live I think. As soon as you are legal to learn I say you should learn. Our state provides drivers hand books free at the DMV. I would think you should get one and familiarize yourself with rules and laws. Any thing worth having is worth a hard fight for so even if the tests are hard you need to knuckledown, study and go for it. good luck and LEARN WHERE THE DIMMER SWITCH ISwell, I'm 20 and i still have a permit. um, i know someone who's almost 30 and is just getting her license. its really when you feel comfortable driving. personally, i advise public transportation. it may take longer and be a bit more of a pain in the ***, but in the long run you get exercise, save some money, and get lots of time to think about things, read, knit, write, whatever you want really, when doing it. im surviving just fine with it. and for god's sake, learn to parallel park. for some reason it's no longer part of the test in most states, but it is among one of the best things to know when driving a car.
Why do some people park in 2 spots?

If you have access to a vehicle, and can persuade the owner to let you drive it somewhere off-road, where there's no danger to yourselves or others, then go for it.

any age is good, but until you get your provisional licence you will need to find somewhere off the road, like a private estate or an unused Airport, or farmers field, you will need to get permission first though, I learnt by driving a dumper on a building site, and a tractor on a farm, from the age of 9 years old. What is your personal opinion about Kumho tires?
Any age you want but obviously not on the roads until your 17, i grew up on a farm and rode proper tractors at 13 its just when you feel comfortable i suppose !of course legally its 17 but it can be stressful if you make mistakes that inconvenience others at this age. You may be better waiting til later, especially as cost of insurance depends on age so much. However its you decision.

you can't legally drive on the road until you are 17, But you can drive on private property without a licence as long as you have permission from the person that owns the land. There are some driving schools that will give you lessons on private property from the age of 16.Cop did not stop me for almost running a light, but will he still cite me?
If you can find somewhere to drive off-road (old airfield or similar), the earlier you start the better.More Questions & Answers ...
