How does the UK border work with foreigners cars??
Inilne 6Flat 6
V12
Are considered to be perfectly balanced engines in a limited sense. I have a number of inline sixes - never felt any buzzing or vibrations like the 4 bangers I've had. V-8 cars are also smooth running, but for different reasons as they don't fit the category above.
Is the Valentine 1 Radar detector pretty much the best one?
Inline sixes are probably the least smooth-running engines available. They are inherently unstable and rough-running. If you want a smooth running engine, the V-12's are probably the smoothest (think BMW or Jaguar).i believe in-line 6 gives you more torque and is made for rr wheel drive so u can drift and do many crazy stunt
v-8 is still smoother.
Which national car rental chain rents the Honda CRV?
Just about any well tuned engine should run smooth. all my vehicles (4) when they are running you can even feel them. especially my 51 Buick with the straight 8. :)Why do woman drivers get slated?
Not being an engineer, I can't be totally sure, but any inline engine is smoother than its V-angled counterpart. There is no need for balancing the friction of an inline engine. That being said, the more cylinders, the more smooth it should be. Back in the 40s and earlier (notwithstanding some Packards that lasted through the 50s), straight-8s were known for their smoothness. Alas, so were V-12s and V-16s (the latter by Cadillac and Marmon), so I dunno. Each design has their advantages and disadvantages, and one should not be favored over the other as they usually are designed to solve a problem regarding power and packaging.More Questions & Answers ...
