What are the best upgrades I can make to my MINI Cooper S?

I have an 05 MINI Cooper S. What are the best upgrades i can make to it to add horse power and just make it look/feel/run better and smoother?]
Is the John Cooper Works Package worth it?
Where can i find info on parts and such for MINIs? Is there a website or magazine?

I didn't know where else to put this question! It has to do with a car though! ..?

I've read differing opinions, some say the package is entirely worth it, others say that it isn't really justifiable for the price. But the majority have been in favor or it.
You won't see a huge increase in performance figure (0-60, top speed) but you will gain a large amount of horsepower.
For the price you get a lot, I'm sure it would cost more to get comparable equipment on a piece by piece basis.
If I had a Mini, I'd opt for the package.
