Cop did not stop me for almost running a light, but will he still cite me?

Question:
I was driving around chinatown afterschool... a cop is right behind me trailing me for like 2 blocks.. next thing i know i see a red light and hit the brakes hard.. i stopped in the middle of the intersection.. and backed up slowly in front of the police car... he didn't bother to get out... so my question is.. "what are the chances for me to recieve a citation??"

If he was going to write you a citation, he would have done it there. He was probably just driving somewhere, they're not always out trying to write traffic tickets, you know.
