Escalade or Navigator?

Question:
I really like both but can't decide. The Escalade is a bit more but looks much better with the 22" wheel. But it does have the fold in seats which the Navigator does. From experience what do you think I shoul get?

The Escalade is better in every way. It is much better looking, It has more power, is way way faster, gets better MPG. AND It comes pimped out. I think I'll go get one.

Question about....?

Navigator. It's cheaper and they are less likely to be stolen. so insurance should be cheaper, check with your insurance agent and see what the difference is.

Are platform shoes really so dangerous for driving?

I work in a garage, and I see all sorts of GM vehicles come in with common engine problems, mostly intake manifolds on the GM trucks (Escalade counts as a GM truck in my vote). I have one in the shop for a major engine repair at least once a week, I have had maybe 5 or 6 Ford trucks (Navigator counts as a Ford truck) in the last year, and only one of them was for a repair, the others were for maintance. On the reliability issue, I would go with the Naviagtor. I see more of the Ford 5.4L Tritons last 300 000km then I do the GM 5.3L (that replaced the 5.7L of the 1990's). I see these mainly last about 180 000km before you have to start pouring money into it, to keep it running (basically $5000 into it, it will run for another 180 000km). I see the Ford trucks last long with minimal problems over thier life. However. In recent years, Ford has had a problem with the 5.4L spitting the plugs out of the head. It is not a recall issue [yet]. I don't know if its been sorted out yet or not. That is the one expencive problem the Triton's have. Either way, with the reliability I've seen on both vehicles, I would have to go Ford myself.

Why do straight-four-cylinder engines sound so bad?

I have a 1989 Ranger, and she's never let me down once. My family have been a Ford and Chrysler family. The Ford's easily outlast the Chryslers. Mine is the lowest milage Ford in the family at 190 000km. My uncle has over 600 000km on his 5.4L F-150.
