A truck crashed a friend's car but it was my friend's fault it was a big truck and i think nothing happend to the truck but my friend left the place because he didnt have a licence and it wasnt his car and he wants to know how long does it takes if someone got his plaques

It could take hours to weeks to months. Since he now commited a major felony for leaving the scene rather than just toughing it out and end up with a minor misdemeanour, the police are probably building a case against him. He better hope no one caught his plates because if they did and he's convicted, bye bye to the truck. REPO! And guys like us get to buy it for dirt cheap at the auction! And yeah, leaving the scene comes with jail time.
There is no time set, it all depends on how you PD (police department) works.
