You didn't say what tranny and rear end. You could expect 12-16 mpg out of either motor.I am looking for a list of government auctions in Oklahoma. I don't know where to look tho.?
give or take a little ,around 20 mpgmy car air vents smell, how can i neutralise it?
I don't think the Windsor or Cleveland makes a difference. It's more dependent on the carburetor.
A 4 barrel carb might get you 10 MPG or less.
A 2 barrel carb might get you 14 MPG or less.

Older cars also have to be warmed up. If you drive short trips without the motor getting warmed up the choke might stay on making the gas mileage worse.
No offense, but if your worried about gas mileage then this is the wrong car for you, go buy a sunfire or something good on gas, by the way a fairlane must likely has a windsor engine as they fit in easily, a cleveland requires quite a bit of work!
