When using cruise control, should the gear be in D or OD?

Question:

Answers:

in Buffalo NY..?

Whatever the driving conditions call for. Cruise control doesn't care, it just tries to keep a constant speed. Although the only time you would use D instead of OD would be if you were pulling a heavy trailer, or driving in the mountains, and I wouldn't even consider using cruise under those driving conditions.
