A friend of mine once slid his car (full of friends) off a back road and rolled it onto its roof in a creek in the rain. When the first door was pushed open, beer cans started floating in. They were all laughing at this when the cops showed up, but they were all sober. Nobody had been drinking and the cops were mightily disappointed. Then the driver went home and told his dad who got on his case, "I JUST WASHED THAT CAR!" Never mind that it had bald tires and tending to them would have made more sense than washing a car with bald tires. We got years of laughs out of that one.
