Auto ID... Is there a site that will show views of cars from the 20's?

Question:
I have a photo of my Grandfather sitting on the running board of a car. Where can I find out what kind of car it is? Can I post it on Flickr and ask for an ID ?

Answers:

hey, which car should my parents buy.....?

There was a bunch of obscure car makes still around in the 20's (the depression killed off most of them). Yes, your best bet is finding a classic auto blog and posting it. Otherwise, you might just spend a day at the library (or the bookstore) looking through picture books. Pay attention to the radiator grille/headlights. Many times these would be the unique features that made it stand out. Get a magnifying glass, if you see anything unique, try updating your question.
