Question:
what makes a car more fuel efficient. you know, how it doesnt use as much gas, and gets more miles per gallon.
Answers:
Those experienced with tint, please help?
Weight reduction has a lot to do with good gas mileage. The more complete the combustion process is in the engine, the more efficient the motor is which will improve fuel economy. Keeping tires properly inflated will improve gas mileage by reducing friction.Which is more efficient in consumption,v8 turbo diesel i.e,4200 cc or V6 3500cc unleaded car engine?
Two of the best things I know of that don't cost you a dime1. reduce the weight in the car
2. go slower. Especially when accelerating from a stop.
I just failed my driving testttttttttttt?
keeping the oil changed every 3000 miles...keeping the air cleaner changed at the same time...keeping the correct tire pressure..(keeping it clean and waxed helps too, with the newer 'rounder' hoods on cars.) Using the correct gas (not 87 when you need 91 octane) No jack rabbit starts (no matter how much you wanna race the woman next to you.. ;D ) Keeping a steady speed. ( no up and back driving...)two best things proper air pressure in tires and a tune up

Well the only thing you can do is keep a proper tune, ex. plugs, wireset, air filter, oxygen sensor as well as fuel system cleaning. Also the amount of fuel injected in to the cylinder is directly related to how much you work the throttle. People seem to think if they accelerate slow they will save gas by pressing the gas pedal down very slowly, wrong, what they dont tell you is, pressing the pedal then letting off, then pressing it, then letting off, all that does is pump gas after gas into the cylinder, rather than pressing it once down and that be it.As far as what should be done originally from the factory; the fuel injection system should have been designed to operate under 5 times more fuel pressure which whould in turn allow a smaller fuel injector hole that would in turn allow a vapor to be injected into the cylinder rather than the current spray of droplets. A high pressure vapor would burn more efficient by a long shot, probably double the mileage.
