My blinkers (both of them) sometimes they work and sometimes they don't?

Is this a shorted fuse or is my car just mental
It's a Chevy Malibu 2001

Sounds like a bad ground BUT I had one of these and I am sure that you checked the bulbs. GM put some real crappy bulbs out in the last few years. I had a 2005 that the tail lamp indicators burned out within 15K. When I removed the bulbs, the elements in the center of the bulbs looked like they were attached...but were actually burned on one side not allowing them to light up.

How much is a cbt test?

fuse

A car traveling 20 mph can stop in about 40ft, if the same car was traveling twice as fast,?

try this the fuse isnt the problem find the relays the one for the lights parking and signals and the others for the headlamps now switch them around turn on the car if the head lights dont function with the one from the signals then thats it buy a relay or theres a round or silver blocky thingy thats the intermitant signal switch theres another name but its not in my mind looks like either one big round buzzer or a couple of blocky thingys if two switch them turn them on if its the other thing the lights come on but dont blink go to auto zone and ask them they can pull your car up on screen and tell you the fuses and the relays and the switches so that should do it for you
