With more & more pullution in USA & China, shouldn't we be working on cars like Hybrids?

Don't we need more cars that pollute less? That's what we should be really worrying about, instead of American Idol, right?

I have h1 bulbs in my high and low beams, both are 55W, but low are in a projector housing. is this right?

The cars that are in production today pollute very little. The problem is that we have so many cars and trucks on the roads.
Not to mention our country has lost so much of it's forests and open praries to developers who bring in more people to the areas, shopping malls and traffic to name a few.
Since our natural filters are being lost everyday, we should concentrate on conservation of every natural resource we have instead of the greed that is ever present.

there are more hybrid cars now that ever, so I don't see what you're talking about! I had a hybrid car and it was a little dangerous! I can't tell you how many people I almost ran over on bikes because they couldn't hear me coming! poor things!
i think we need to focus on developing fuels that we can make from start to finish here in the US so that we won't be as dependant on the middle East, screw those guys! i hate giving them my cash every week!

If you really want to make a difference, tell the press to stop telling the American public that we need gobs of horsepower. Back in the early 90's a Geo metro had a 1 liter engine and got over 50 mpg. It only had about 65hp but was very capable at getting you from point A to point B. Nobody needs a personal vehicle with more than 200 hp, regardless of size. How often do you race your commuter car or even use half of its available hp. This hp war is an environmental nightmare. A new car with an extremely efficient, 100hp four cylinder, using todays technology and only 1.2 liters would help even more than a hybrid. They are even trying for more power in hybrids, why why why? Nobody needs all of that power, we have been brainwashed!!!
