GPS vs. Web Based Mapping Software: Which Gets You There Better?

Question:

Answers:

What is the difference between diesel, biodiesel, biofuel and ethanol?

GPS, much safer than looking at a printed map and able to deal with changing circumstances like missed turns. Also useful for finding gas stations or stores that you didn't expect you'd need when you were sat at your PC.

Is the format of car GPS systems changing to digital in 2008? If so, how will it affect older systems?

Garmin, by the way, certainly not Tomtom, I have both. Tomtom is a good way to end up having an adventure on a hundred year old road, it put me on the pony express trail instead of a state road.

This question is kinda weird...?

The GPS wins hands down. If you miss a turn it will recalculate the route, while the paper maps become so much scrap paper.

Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called "rush hour?

I agree with the other poster, I've got both the TomTom and the Garmin Nuvi and IMHO it wins on every feature.
