A surrey is a light four-wheeled horse-drawn carriage; and has two or four seats. Here is a picture: http://tinyurl.com/yb67cf

i have a loaner car from an infiniti dealership, who is reponsible for this?

Surreys aren't really coaches, the big difference being coaches are enclosed, whereas Surreys are open. Usually pulled by a one or two horse hitch, and a sign of relative affuence, they were used as transportation by those who could afford them.
Equiped with a single bench seat, and occasionally a removeable second seat in the rear, and with suspension of bent wood or steel springs on the axles, occasionally on the seat, also, they are a step above ordinary, bone jarring wagons most common in the late 18th through the 19th centurys in America . Removeable, and later folding, covers over the passengers, with often beautiful paint , decorations, and mounting for lanterns, they may be compared to the luxury coupes of today, and mostly owned by more prominant members of a locale.
