Question:
I was just handed down a jeep grand cheroke, V6, 2WD, 180,000 miles. But in good shape, practically EVERYTHING was just replaced a week ago. Due to gas prices and the fact that i have no use for a jeep (hauling or towing anything). I want to know if i could go to one of those small car lots and just hand them the keys to my jeep and pick up anywhere from a 95-97 integra. Im not car savy, i realize there would be a little bit more legal things behind just handing keys over. But do car lots do that? To where without any cost to me i can go in a just trade a car? And if so could i possibley somthing like a 95 GSR for the jeep?
Answers:
Why does the cost of gasoline flunctuate so much.?
Check the nada appraisals and see what they are both worth. A car lot will not do it if they cannot make money. So unless the car is worth less than your jeep, they will not do it.we have a 1993 Honda Accord that is not going out of park any ideas?
I don't see why not.Yep it's possible
Car lots will not do a "even-steven" trade. The average car lot is into a vehicle for approx $800 before it goes out front for sale. If you were to walk in with a 2000 jeep and want to trade for a 95 integra, maybe they will work it out, but your trade is not economically feasible for the car lot to stay in business. Walk into a car lot with your trade and $800 cash for an integra GS, not a GSR, and they will talk. A GSR will cost you approx $1500 to $2000 on top of your vehicle. Check the market values for your vehicle and a GSR(that is not beat up or raced to near death). Remember to look at the "wholesale" value, as the car lot deals with wholesale in-retail out.
