The highway is indeed for gamblers. You have to remember that the faster you go, the more dangerous it is. The faster you go, the more potential there is for you to have an accident. And the faster you go, the harder it is to brake. You gamble when there's a drunk person that drives on the highway and you don't see him. You gamble your life when there's a severe killer driving on the highway that shoots your car out of randomness. Therefore I believe when you drive on the highway, you are in fact gambling your life.

Getting anywhere near where cars go is a gamble. You can be killed by a car walking on the street. Yes the faster you go the worse the crash it but plenty of people have been killed sitting at a red light or going through their green. Auto accidents happen. your best bet is to be a defensive driver... always be conscious of what is going on around you at all times. My hubby says he gets on the road everyday with the attitude that everyone else on the road is out to kill him. Keeps him watchful of his surroundings and what other drivers are doing.
