The tachograph law only applies to 3.5 tonne vans if they pull a trailer as part of its work.If you do not pull a trailer you do not need to use a tachograph.I drive a nissan navaro 4x4 for work and have to use a tachograph when i tow the works trailer.If the trailer is used for private use the tachograph law does not apply.
