You didn't say new or used, but assuming used a diesel Fiat Multipla shouldn't cost more than £300 a year to insure, as long as you have full no claims with no recent claims and live in a decent area. 35mpg+ around town and up to 50 on a run, 6 usable seats and still has a decent boot so none of the kids are sat right next to the tailgate.

Vauxhall Zafira, have had two now and about to get my third. Very reliable, excellent seating system which is very adaptable and not too bad MPG has a good safety record as well...check them out on any road test website and they come out very well...the new model is even better, but a bit more than 9K. I have had no problems and highly recommend them.

In your opinion, What is the worst car ever made?

The new model knocked spots off its competitors in all road test surveys.
Classy looks, loads of space, plenty of extras and very agile with excellent mpg.
Now no longer being made as has been replaced by the newer model advertised on tv by Michael Schumacher.
But non the less, a two or three year old model with really low mileage will cost a lot less than £10000.
Best model is the 2.2 Diesel and comes with electric side doors, sat nav and all the fancy gadgets.
I dont have one but will have soon, what a lot of car!
