Answers:
What is the best thing to use for weight in my truck bed for winter driving?
Not looking for much, are you? Before the Baja BFG had/has the All-Terrain (Baja Champion). The extra R&D from racing produced the "Baja". Very expensive but worth every penny if you beat the crap out of your rig.#1 Tread elements are the individual "blocks" of "rubber" that rise from the casing/body of a tire. The edges of those block are where the "good stuff" happens.
#2 Lateral traction is the measure of force/resistance a tire can exert to move a vehicle in a different direction than it was going.
#3 There is no "a" in extreme. Tires for any vehicle should exceed the very worst you "might" put them through.
