Car Metal Fatigue?

Question:
I got this stupid question. I like to drive fast and agressive and my car is now 11 years old and clocked about 100,000 miles. If I keep driving it agressive and I want to use it to about 20 years old. Will my car break apart while I drive it due to metal fatigue as the harder I use my car, the more prone to metal fatigue and also the age of the car? Thanks!!

If you drive a car hard it is different than driving it agressively .
With agressive driving you are more prone to take off faster to be first in line as they say but agressive drivers don't Light em up on every start..go sideways or really "lay into a corner" ! If you Lay into the corners , start from every stop like it an Indy 500 race , slam on the brakes to stop , then yes you are going to wear out the car befor you get even close to 20 yrs on her !
There is torque twist from the engine , tran , and differential that takes a major toll on every hard start , turn and stop. then you have to figure on the heat buildup on the bearings and spindles in the front end not to mention the bearing load you are putting on the pinion and side gear bearings let alone the axles !
then figure the road vibration , slams from pot holes , wind vibration and friction heat .
Yep it all adds up to metal fatigue ! Metal fatigue is when the metal is continually twisted , turned , subjected to heat increases and quick heat losses , repeated tortional twist. that is what causes "metal fatigue" ...the repeated movement in one place that changes the molecular structure of the metal it's self causeing it to weaken due to stress !

Metal fatigue is a way of measuring how the metal used in manufacturing the car, will hold its shape over time. This is called "fatigue life", and is used mostly in the aircraft industry.

The biggest thing you need to worry about with your car are replacing the bushings, steering tierods and shock absorbers when necessary. Perhaps you should even upgrade your bushings to Urethane ones to tighten your suspension.

Shouldnt have checked her out?

True metal fatigue takes place when suspension components fail and force the chassis to flex and crack in lieu of the suspenion taking the shock and movement.

an example...the front suspension control arms on my 69 mustang wouldn't move as they were designed to do, (movement was down to 25% of original travel), guess what?
The shocktowers had vertical cracks and the flexing strips on the sheetmetal were now acting as my suspension.
