What are speed sensitive wipers?

Question:
In going over a particular cars specs. I noticed it said "speed sensetive wipers". What are they? Do they adjust to the speed of the rain or how fast you are driving?

Answers:

Car gas milae?

Actually both
In most applications of speed sensitive wipers, there is a small patch typically on the windshield that uses either a conductive agent or reflective laser to determine how much water or rain is on the windshield, therefore adjusting the speed of the wipers.
Since the amount of water hitting the windshield increases as your speed does, both of your answers are correct.
Typically this requires you to set the wiper arm in a specific position, just remember to turn it off before you take your car to a car wash, otherwise you may damage the system.
