Car driving Basics?

I am going to learn car driving the next week.
I need to get myself prepared for it and want to learn some basics
like functioning of car,fuel,engine,its parts e.t.c.
Where can I find this or is someone kind enough to let me know some basics
of car driving since I don't want to sound an idiot before the trainer.
